The canister is airtight with a one way valve to allow CO2 to escape whilst keeping the coffee fresh inside. The dial on the top is used to show the date you have opened your beans so you can ensure that you are drinking your coffee within its prime period. Capacity 1.5l (holds 500gm beans)
